The Aguja is built from 280gsm 100% cotton canvas, the material that has kept people warm and dry for generations. It breathes, so there are no clammy walls. It insulates in winter and stays cool in summer. When it rains, the fibers swell into a tighter seal. Add a factory-fitted stove jack and a 9.8 ft peak, and it becomes a place you can live in all year.

Apex vent
A vent cap at the 9.8 ft (3 m) peak lets warm air escape, so the canvas regulates the temperature inside without any power.

No color-coded rods and no puzzle: a single galvanized center pole and an A-frame door do all the structural work. Everything packs into one carry duffel, including a canvas repair kit.

Is the Aguja really a 4-season tent?
Yes. The 280gsm cotton canvas insulates in winter and breathes in summer, the galvanized steel frame holds in wind and snow, and the stove jack is fitted at the factory, so you can run a wood stove without modifying anything. In summer, roll the sidewall up and use it as an open-air canopy.
Why cotton instead of polyester?
Cotton breathes. Moisture from breathing and cooking escapes through the weave, so you don't get condensation dripping off the walls. When it rains, the fibers swell into a tighter water-resistant seal. It's also quieter in wind and rain and holds up to UV much longer than polyester.
How many people does it sleep?
Four to six people with sleeping pads or cots. For a full glamping setup with beds, a stove and furniture, plan on two to four.
How long does setup take?
About 30 minutes with two people. One center pole and an A-frame door pole do all the structural work, and stakes, reflective guylines and a carry duffel are included.
How do I look after cotton canvas?
Always let it dry completely before packing it away for storage. The canvas is treated to resist mold and mildew, and a repair kit comes in the box. With proper care, expect 5–10 years of use.
