1 · Ordering & Shipping

[1-1] Where do you ship from and how long does delivery take?

All retail orders depart our Santa Ana, CA warehouse within 1-2 business days. Ground shipping to the U.S. West Coast arrives in 3-4 days; East Coast in 5-7 days.

[1-2] Do you ship internationally?

Yes—canvas tents ship DDP (duties paid) to Canada, the EU, U.K. and Australia. Transit averages 6-12 days via DHL Freight.

[1-3] Is shipping really free?

U.S.-48 ground is free for tents; accessories under $75 ship for a flat $9.95. Expedited and international costs are calculated at checkout. 

2 · Product & Specs

[2-1] What canvas weight do you use?

We spec 280 gsm cotton or poly-cotton—thick enough for four-season durability yet light enough to pitch by one person. 

[2-2] Are Trend Tents fire-retardant?

All Brisa™, Asher™ and Safari Wall models use CPAI-84 compliant canvas treated with PFC-free FR chemistry. 

[2-3] Can I run a wood stove inside?

Yes—every Bell, Wall and Safari tent ships with a silicone stove-jack and a roof vent engineered for 650 °F flue temps. Always install a spark arrestor and heat shield.

[2-4] What temperatures are these rated for?

With a stove, our wall tents have been field-tested down to -20 °F; Bell and Tipi models maintain 30-50 °F interior delta with a medium stove. 

3 · Setup & Use

[3-1] How long does setup take?

• Bell/Tipi ≤ 15 min (one person) • Wall/Safari 25-40 min (two people)
Color-coded poles and pre-attached guy-lines speed the pitch—mirroring REI’s quick-pitch benchmarks. 

[3-2] Do I need to “season” the canvas?

Yes—douse the tent and let it dry once before first use. Wetting swells the cotton and seals needle holes, a standard canvas step. 

[3-3] How many people fit?

3 m Bell = 2-3 sleepers | 4 m = 4-5 | 5 m = 6-8 on cots.

4 · Care & Maintenance

[4-1] How do I clean the tent?

Brush off dirt, then sponge with mild soap; never machine-wash. Rinse and dry completely before storage to prevent mildew.

[4-2] When should I re-waterproof?

Reapply DWR once per year or after heavy rain if you see dark patches absorbing water. Use a silicon- or PU-compatible treatment depending on fabric. 

[4-3] What if mold appears?

Spray white vinegar, let sit, scrub lightly, rinse and dry. Vinegar kills spores without damaging canvas. 

[4-4] Can I repair a tear myself?

Small rips: clean, apply canvas patch and seam-seal. Broken poles: use a repair sleeve (splint) or order replacements from us. 

5 · Warranty, Returns & Repairs

[5-1] What’s the warranty?

All tents carry a 1-year craftsmanship warranty against fabric, zipper and pole defects under normal use. 

[5-2] Return policy?

Unused tents can be returned within 10 days; we provide a pre-paid label (U.S. only) and refund in 3–5 days after inspection. Accessories: 7-day return window. 

[5-3] Do you offer repairs?

Yes—free parts Year 1; at-cost poles/patch panels after. We also run a paid “Re-Camp Certified” refurbishment for older tents.

[6-1] How do I open a wholesale account?

Submit the Wholesale form—approval in one business day with portal access and NET-30 terms. 

[6-2] OEM minimums?

Custom color/logo Bell & Tipi: MOQ 4; Wall/Safari: MOQ 2; Stretch/Event: MOQ 1. First prototype in 30 days, bulk 60-90.
